The Best Books I Read In 2016
I like reading books. A lot. Mostly fiction. Twenty-sixteen was a great year in that respect, I managed to break my all-time records and finish more than 50 books (some of them were graphic novels so it may not be as impressive as it sounds).
Music-wise, this has been such a tremendous year for me. Living in Toronto and having a fair amount of free time on my hands, I was able to listen to over a hundred albums and attend 15+ concerts. More than any other year, I've delved into different sub-genres, reviewed a bunch of albums for the mighty ... READ MORE

Album Review – Belfry by Messa
MESSA BELFRY Released on May 16, 2016 (Aural Music)
Doom metal is booming like cocaine was during the 1970s. The number of bands releasing new music or emerging on the scene during 2016 has been tremendous. The characteristic slow, heavy, and dark sound that Black Sabbath ... READ MORE

It's been a whirlwind of a time since I last wrote here, some big life changes are coming for me and my mind has been filled with confusion. I've been having a lot of mixed feelings about life and how things sometimes are out of our hands (aren't they always? isn't control an illusion, anyway?).
It's been an exciting week since last I wrote here. Of all the great things that happen during Toronto's very short summer (although it's technically autumn now, I still see it as a summer event), one of the best is Nuit Blanche, which took place ... READ MORE
Welcome to my Blog. Iteration 2.0, Unfiltered.
Blogging. I'll have another go at it. My last Blog which was awesomely called Charmful Dead Things (if I must say so myself), was mostly a lot of fun to write, design and setup. It lead me to read a lot and learn most of what I know about the infinite ... READ MORE
